Loreto McAuley
Loreto is the founder of the piano trio and
the main pianist and music arranger. She is also the director of Sacred
Services and organist in several parishes in Belfast. Loreto is an experienced
orchestral and choral musican and has been involved in classical music
for nearly thirty years. While a BMus student at Queen’s University, she
was awarded a Hamilton Harty Scholarship to study conducting with George
Hurst. She studied spirituality and theology in Mater Dei, Dublin and
holds an MSc in Computer Science.
Loreto is the founder of the chamber choir ‘Voices' and the McAuley Harp
Trio.
Her compositions include liturgical music and a children’s musical. She
is also the Director of ‘101music’, an agency for professional musicians
and ‘@rchwaywebs’, a website design company.
